Step One
Deceased is placed in a pressure vessel which is filled with water and potassium hydroxide commonly called lye.

Step Two
The vessel is commonly heated to 320 degrees Fahrenheit at elevated pressure. Temperature many very resulting in a longer process.
Step Three
After 2-4 hours the vessel has produced 120-300 US gallons comprised of amino acids, peptides, sugars, salts, and soft bones.
